Sufyan Ali
Finance Director
Sufyan leads the UK-to-Dubai relocation strategy for Route Business Hub's clients: UAE company structuring (freezone, mainland or holding) planned alongside the UK tax exit, so directors aren't left with a UAE company that hasn't actually changed their UK position.
7 years advising UK business directors on cross-border relocation, legal UK tax exit planning, and HMRC-compliant structuring for the move to Dubai.
Relocating a UK company to Dubai is rarely just a UAE licence. It's about how the UAE structure and the UK exit interact, and a setup that looks efficient on the UAE side alone can leave a director still fully UK tax resident if the exit isn't planned properly. Sufyan's focus is on that whole picture: building relocation structures that hold up under HMRC scrutiny on the way out while meeting UAE requirements on the way in, rather than treating either side as an afterthought.
Sufyan holds a BCom in Business/Commerce from the University of the Punjab. Before joining Route Business Hub, he worked as an Accounts Manager at Baron & Cabot, a UK investment property management company, and as a Clients Account Manager at Rodliffe Accounting Limited in London, building the UK accounting and VAT background that now sits alongside the UAE side of every relocation he plans.
