Indicative only, based on published 2026/27 UK rates (corporation tax incl. marginal relief, dividend tax) and UAE Corporate Tax at 9% above AED 375,000. Qualifying freezone income can be taxed at 0%, subject to conditions we assess individually. This is not personal tax advice.

How this number is calculated

UK side: corporation tax at 19% on profits up to £50,000, 25% above £250,000, with marginal relief tapering the rate in between (the standard 3/200 fraction). If you take profits out as dividends, we add UK dividend tax on what's left: a £500 tax-free allowance, then 10.75% (basic rate), 35.75% (higher rate) and 39.35% (additional rate), with the personal allowance tapered above £100,000 of income.

UAE side: 0% up to AED 375,000 of profit, 9% above it. Because the 0% freezone rate on Qualifying Income depends on meeting the Qualifying Free Zone Person conditions on an ongoing basis, we show a range (the conservative case assumes 9% applies, the optimistic case assumes the 0% qualifying rate applies) rather than a single number that overstates what's guaranteed.

If you don't tick "I'd relocate personally," the tool assumes you're still UK tax resident and still pay UK tax on whatever you draw out personally, even from a UAE company. The saving shown in that case is on the company side only, which is the realistic position for a director who structures the company offshore without changing their own residence.
